Each year BC SPCA supporters help us save tens of thousands of animal lives through emergency rescue of injured and homeless animals, animal cruelty investigations, medical treatment, sheltering and adoption, wildlife rehabilitation, farm certification, advocacy initiatives, youth programming and cruelty prevention programs. The BC SPCA is the only animal welfare organization in B.C. with the authority to enforce laws relating to animal cruelty and to recommend charges to Crown counsel for the prosecution of those who inflict suffering on animals.
