Inn from the Cold began out of a community concern for the growing number of people in Calgary facing homelessness during the bitterly cold winter of 1996-1997. Today, families stay at our shelter and in our “Community Inns,” which operate on a rotating basis 365 days a year. Inn from the Cold is a place where individuals, the faith community and organizations unite with the common goal of helping those who need it most.
